I got to finally reverse head not Scott Kurtz. He was a bit too shy to appear on camera with Vampire Bear but that's okay.
I had a nice talk with the guys from Penny Arcade and at least one of them thought Vampire Bear was cool. Also didn't want to appear on camera, alas.
I met a wonderful young comic artist from Everett named Rosie who draws a web comic called Serves You Right. She appeared on camera with Vampire Bear and was very nice.
I finally got to talk to Kris Straub, who left a comment on this entry - September 30, 2002. I have been carrying around with me the desire to thank him in person for that comment for nearly five years and I finally got to do it. Also, I got him on camera with Vampire Bear. The video starts of quite a bit shakey because I just had outpoured emotionally and was so pleased that I got to tell him.
I met Chewbacca. Yeah. He's even more cool in person. I didn't want to spend $25 for an autographed photograph, however. I didn't want to ask how much he would ask for a video recording with vampire bear.
Oh yeah - and I met and talked with Brian Posehn!!! You can see his brief video on vb's blog - you know it - okay - askvampirebear.blogspot.com
Quite an awesome day.
