And you've certainly raised the bar with V.Bear. Actually talking to real people! I carry Terry with me just in case I can get an interview or two but never have the confidence to actually do it.

Also, did you get the email regarding chocolate?

Cheers~

Marty

vb got your e-mail.

you should know this isn't the first time he has talked with real people. look way back for the healthy food interview - that was at taco time here in seattle.

vb and i had some cadbury from england dairy milk superbly amazing - the rubbish they peddle here is oversugared. they sell english cadbury in this kosher market in los angeles.

I think you're lucky! If I tried to get terry to interview people or anything like that here in London I'd get stared at!

I'm always looking for opportunities still though. I think it'd be hilarious... but then I do laugh at my own jokes far too much...

I took a couple of improvisation classes and one thing it taught me was that each of us due to how we were raised have an internal censor that tells our mind, "Don't say that, you'll be ridiculed" or "Oh shut up, you'll come off like a pratt."

I'm sure I get stares when I do interviews with VB but the thing is I couldn't be bothered. I'm too focused on the interview and I'm aware that at the end I will have a video I can use.

As for laughing I'm not sure how but I manage to basically hold it in until after the camera is off. Of course there are gag reels for a reason.

I was discussing with Jen recently about the use of the characters of Jeb and Terry (and even to some extent Tequila Terry). In that I'm freed up to actually say things I wouldn't normally say because it's far easier for one thing when you're putting on a voice and moving a bear in time to the words, you actually see the world from their perspective.
Also, I wondered if I was actually pulling aspects of my own personality and bringing them out into the open via the bears.

Then we had pizza.

It's amazing how quickly their characters developed too. The mannerisms and things that make them unique, like Jeb's cheery cockney attitude and talkingreallyquickandloud when he's excited. And Terry's gentle bewilderment and amusement at the world around him. It all adds up for a hilarious night in our home.

Also, we have to do a Vampire Bear "Why are you so mean?" voice now everytime someone does something mean on the television. We're still finding it funny! So, thanks for that :)
