let your DS talk for you

I forgot to mention that yesterday elizabeth and I got tickets to an august mariners-red sox game. There were a couple of slightly older japanese women who had a ds they were sharing and looking at it. I saw some cartoony characters on the screen and plenty of japanese.

When they got to the window they kept on holding the DS to it and I figured it was some sort of translator and they were pointing out the words they wanted to express.

As it turns out the DS was taking what they were putting in, in japanese, and it was speaking it out loud in english.

That would explain why they gave me puzzled looks when I asked about the DS. I looked up the 'game' and it is called "Tabi no Yubisashi Kaiwachou DS"
