lunch today brought to you by bulk foods.
Today for lunch I'm making myself a mixture of brown rice, wild rice, quinoa, and textured vegetable protein.

Meanwhile, I'm working on adding to last year's NANORWRIMO project (Nanowrimo - National Novel Writer's Month, which was November) - maybe I can get it up to a decent 100,000 words and have it ready to be possibly published in the next year or so? That would be nice.

I took some sinus medication because my runny nose was beginning to get really annoying. I hate when that happens. Hopefully i will be better by the time I get to see my darling Sandra, which is two days from now. Can you believe it? I can't.

Any day now, by the way. For me to get a job. I keep calling temp agencies and they keep telling me they will get back to me, etc. Great. Really, great.

My nanowrimo practically killed my writing for the month of November. I was actually working on a novel that I liked when I decided to do nanowrimo. I haven't gone back to that novel yet and when I do i'm going to have to rewrite the whole thing in order to figure out what I'm talking about.

the reason I only reached 30,000 words was because I went through it slowly and made sure I knew what i was talking about all along :)

Yeah - I just don't write well in one draft. I always have to go back, and go back. Which is probably why it took me six years to write a 100,000 word novel (but only 6 months to write the 50,000 word follow up - unless you count the time when I just didn't want to look at it then 18 months) but I rather like writing like that. I notice more things in the rewrite about the characters when I go over it again.

No Kerouac style for me.
