the last thing on your mind
I'm sort of hooked on EastEnders now (thanks to uknova) and it really helps me work, believe it or not. Here's how this makes sense. Instead of multitasking and trying to do a few things in different browser windows, I have a browser window open with my work, my excel spreadsheet, and windows media player with EastEnders. Every day I get a few episodes or so in and I get plenty of work done. Then there are classic 2002 episodes of Coronation Street.

40 year Old Virgin is being watched on the telly right now. Things are going so well with my novel, I'm quite pleased.

On an entirely unrelated note I picked up some more dvds today - tdk. Very nice.

I'm amazed that someone goes to all the effort of recording and encoding Eastenders episodes... are you watching the latest stuff?

I'm actually approximately two weeks off - but that's better than coronation street, where we're still watching episodes from may! come mid august (2005) we have it all on dvd and will have tons to watch.

incidentally, might you know why eastenders is 29 minutes long and coronation street is 22?

Adverts. The BBC doesn't have any.

That would explain that. That's seven more minutes of material per episode!
