perhaps a real entry?

I haven't been feeling much like making real entries lately though there have been some significant things happening. I'm quite pleased with the progress of Kate (if you're not familiar with Kate it's a novel I have been writing for too long and the first seventeen chapters are linked from the profile) - I hope to finish it, G-d willing, before the end of the month.

I was a little sad about how things turned out with Mel Hutchwright. You had to see it coming, though, with the recording of him typing and the way that he somehow never paid for a single thing.

I have the theme song from La Madrastra in my head for some reason.

It would have been funny if Laura Pausini had recorded Escucha in Portugese as well. Has it ever happened that a musician records an album in Spanish and Portugese? Or Catalan? Are these languages too similar? Am I an imbecile for wondering such things?

  • So this is LJ Entry # 3,000 for me

It has taken me a lot longer to get here than I thought it would considering that I started this journal in 2002 -- that's ten years ago as of this…

  • bloody anniversaries

get to fixing it, bushy. then you'll have something of a positive legacy. don't just let it smoldering forevermore. is that how you want to be…

  • Happy anniversary, gordond.livejournal.com

Has it really been five years? I should probably do a "what I have learned in 5 years" entry one of these days.
