This entry is being made on my laptop from my father's house which is why the time is three hours off. Judith is making a lovely cup of tea.

They got us lovely gifts for chanukah. My mother surprised me with an additional gift of chanukah, the more traditional chanukah gift. This does not refer to a threadless gift certificate, but it is quite good.

Shabbos was quite lovely at my father's, though I ended up explaining some of the finer points of what melacha means. I accidentally had some dairy 5 hours after meat. Stinker.

in 16 or so hours, G-d willing, we will be back in Seattle. I have missed the flat.

Oh, and my father really liked Kal Ho Naa Ho. No tears but that's okay - not everyone cries when they see it.
