well i feel like an imbecile

i was just having what i thought was an interesting conversation with elizabeth when i realized that her side of the conversation was not directed at me but at someone with whom she was on the phone. it turns out i was talking to myself, and whomever she was talking to was giving the same / similar responses as i was.

in other news, why is it called a fast? it is so slow. Don't go to a baseball game on a major fast day.

Big ups to starbucks on 41st and admiral because that's where i broke my fast. I always break my fast (read: almost always) at starbucks.
