kajol checking out the scene

plus and minus

On the plus side I now have the soundtrack to Paheli. I went to Pabla Indian Cuisine with Monica and Elizabeth and the guy in the grocery store area (where they sell cds as well) pulled it out from behind the desk and told me they had gotten it for me.

On the minus side it seems they got stiffed - I could be wrong. It just seems that this is a bootleg copy. What I think should be a hologram on the front isn't - and the inside of the booklet is blank. Everything has a laserjet feel to it even the cd itself. As I told Elizabeth, at least it was $6.99 as any good hindi soundtrack should be - though Kuch was only $5.00.

I feel like such an internet dork going back and tagging my entries. As if anyone reads this besides me.

I can't believe i forgot to mention this yesterday. Perhaps it was because I was overwhelmed with how many stars Elizabeth got in Mario Party 6.

Last night Brandon and I sang "The Internet is for Porn" from Avenue Q. The audience loved it, even with Brandon's admitted being off tempo - but he has only heard the song precisely once, which is quite good methinks. We wanted to test out the CD and thus we did. He borrowed it afterwards so for all I know after I left to go with Elizabeth and Monica they could have done the whole show. Though of course, that is unlikely. The people that went right before us, I think, were meant to be on Broadway. I say this because they sang incredibly well.

I haven't heard word one from my client in days and have thus not done anything. This worries me to no end.
