DOOL Steve Kayla Cheers!

....and things continue to go well.

Things continue to go well. I have finished a tentative outline for what I want to happen in the serial novel experiment in chapters 10-17 and hope to keep to a one chapter per week schedule. Given how busy my day is, it will be tough - but most certainly feasible.

Learning also goes well. I have a new learning partner whose name, like the one that thought that he was slowing me down, is also Shlomo. He too is not an orange cat.

Sometimes I talk to Channa Esther just in the morning. Sometimes just at night. I don't think a day has gone by that I haven't talked to her, though. Granted, we've been dating for only a little more than two weeks, but it's still a nice thing.

Then there's the tutoring job. It would go a bit easier if we had a text to follow - true. I looked in a math textbook yesterday, and saw that we were doing pretty much things in their right order. Right now we're doing division, ratios, percentages, and fractions - and I'm supposed to get him caught up to 10th grade math, whatever that is. Well, in 10th grade I was in Algebra II and Geometry at the same time - don't know quite why, but Algebra II was definitely fun, I remember. So I suppose I should get him up to there.

Yesterday was my grandfather's 22nd yartzeit - he died 22 years ago (in the Hebrew calendar) on that day. To honor it, I put out cookies and whiskey at lunch and asked that when people would make the blessing, that they should transfer the merit of saying the blessing to my late grandfather, obm.

oh, how e-mail can be funny.

"Do you count the days until your monthly bloating, mood swings, and irritability are gone?"

Come to think of it, I don't. My monthly mood swings and irritability are erratic and don't come every month. And I only get bloated when I.... hey, wait a minute.... this e-mail is almost completely irrelevant to me!

no more tutoring for now :(

Well, I lost my tutoring job :(

The kid's school now offers tutoring for free, cheaper than what I was asking.

I'm feeling oddly lonely today. Weird.

Wish I had my camera here so I could take some pictures of my ridiculously long facial hair, before I shave it on Lag B'Omer.

Well, on the bright side, at least I wrote a decent article for Go Inside Magazine....
