I hope this unemployment thing doesn't turn into one of those things where I was getting more done when I was working because of the fact that a short amount of time to do things meant that I forced myself to do them whereas a long amount of time leads to massive slacking and thus getting nothing done in a day. Sweet mother of elephant it's already half past three and what do I have to show for it? I made a pot of tea. And I'm downloading Flaming Lips songs and later will be getting some Elvis Costello. What is it with me liking lots of music suddenly that I would have hated even a few months ago. I feel really weird. Here I am listening to the Flaming Lips for Herschel's sake and I'm liking it all. What happened to that closed-minded person I used to be, who only listened to classical and jazz and phish and not much else? okay and Frank Zappa. But come on, you have to like Zappa.

okay, so I finished a big fat chapter - or at least a good one, in my mind. which makes me happy today. I wanted to get something done, and I have. I'm thinking that tomorrow I'm going to go out with my digital camera and take a lot of pictures, like ones that I have been wanting to take for ages but have been too busy with work etc to do. And on top of that I will do some writing. Yes, that is what will be taking place. You read it here first. And were, quite possibly, indifferent.
well whatever that record industry group is called, they're wrong. just today, I downloaded a few tracks of the band The Flaming Lips' album "Yoshimi Battles The Pink Robots" and here I am, with the album in front of me, having been purchased for $9 at the Wiz. So you see, the p2p increases sales often enough. Now I have a keen new album, thanks to p2p. Whee. But not nameco greatest hits because that was for the PS2, not the gamecube as I thought from it being on the shelf with the other stuff. I guess I got a little overexcited when I saw the cover and didn't bother to notice that it said "Playstation 2" on it. Alas. $30 that will just have to be in my bank account, for now...
